That’s what’s beautiful about the real estate market in the sticks – long time owners with free and clear properties, when they want to sell, will cut everybody else off at the knees and sell for any price they can get. It wipes out the whole place in one fell swoop.

In downtown San Jose, CA there is a public service (not police) that patrols the redevelopment sector for homeless sleeping in the alcoves, picks up trash and they have a truck with a pressure washer to spray away feces and urine.
