    1. I sold my hoa city house in FL in May 2020, to move to a more rural area until the pandemic was over. Sold for 180k. The house now appraises for 430k. I am now unable to buy back in and beg for a 2008 style crash. I have accepted I missed out and should never have sold. I have never been so depressed in my entire life of 55 years. The neighbors in my rental complex are awful. This is the emotional damage of failed crony capitalism. You keep saying wait, the housing will crash, but I no longer believe you. House price inflation has destroyed my future.

  3. Your 55. You’ve lived through at least two major bubbles in your lifetime and seen them burst. And yet you think this one is some sort of permanent plateau? Despite the evidence around you? So far this one is unwinding way faster than the last one. Go back and dig up the evidence. Admittedly you made a bad decision. I’d suggest you don’t make another and wait this implosion out. Financially speaking, it’s time to circle the wagons. They’ll be writing about this meltdown a hundred years from now.
