Welcome!
This is the new housing bubble blog. We were unable to upgrade the last one to a mobile friendly format, so we created a new one! Please look around and check out the features. It’s still under construction but your feed-back on functionality is greatly appreciated, especially on phones and tablets.
And thehousingbubble.com will remain online as an archive for the ages!

Is the news of an escalating trade war with China a cause for concern in the U.S. housing market? The last time I checked, the receding tide of Chinese investors was leading to a severe downturn in the Australian housing sector. What if Chinese investors similarly withdrew from U.S. housing en masse?

Thanks Mr. Ben for keeping your HBB “body.of.knowledge” alive in the archive & as always, your $uperlative efforts in di$tributing hou$ing new$!
Good luck with your new site.
looks good!
New site is great. Viva la documentation of the meltdown!
Congrats on the new site!
It might just be my tired old eyes, but I have a really hard time reading the blog now with the bright white
background and the grayish-white text. Not sure if I have a way to change anything on my side to make it easier on my eyeballs.
Thanks!

Love the new site Ben.
Though I don’t post a lot now I do take a peek several times a week. Keep up the good work. Your posts lead me to believe we are on the verge of going off the cliff again!

Glad to see this excellent blog continues the new format.
All my good friends in one place.
New site much more friendly to mobile devices but…
1. Why didn’t you enable user friendly urls? Why ?p=18 instead of /welcome-to-new-blog/ ?
2. Why did you move to a new domain? Wasn’t it possible to start a new blog as a subdomain of the original domain? You will lose ratings on the old domain and the new one will never be as popular as the old one.
3. Starting a new domain without SSL? You never know what Google will require in the future. I will not be surprised if in 2-3 years they ban all sites without SSL.
It’s not late to change.
Just saying. Nice content by the way.
