Where The Dominoes Start To Fall

A report from Click Orlando in Florida. “For the second time in two months, an Orlando sports legend’s sprawling home has become a little more affordable. Shaquille O’Neal’s Isleworth mansion can now be had for a reduced price. Shaq first put the 31,000-square-foot home on the market in 2018 for $28 million. After failing to sell, the price was reduced to $19.5 million in September. It is now down to $16.5 million.”

The Los Angeles Times in California. “Actress JoBeth Williams and her husband, film director John Pasquin, just sold their pedigreed home overlooking the links of Bel-Air Country Club for $18.5 million. Williams and Pasquin were asking $30 million for the home in January.”

The Real Deal on New York. “As luxury stores remain shuttered, the pandemic and economic fallout are sparking a rift among owners of residential and retail property in one of the country’s top real estate markets. For many condominium and co-op buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, adding spaces for retail tenants was good business. But as one of the toughest years in decades comes to a close, many of the cafes, gyms and shops in those spaces are struggling to pay rent or have shut down until further notice.”

“Because of these delinquent retail tenants, condo and co-op owners are seeing their dues rise and the value of their homes sink. The pain is compounded for any homeowners or developers trying to sell units. ‘When someone goes to sell their unit, one of the questions is: ‘What’s the current common charges?’ If you have a higher number than the rest of the market, it’s going to certainly lower the property values,’ said Leni Morrison Cummins, a New York real estate attorney.”

“The attorney said she saw a significant increase in liens placed against commercial units by condo and co-op boards over the summer. Some are now turning into full-blown foreclosure suits. Attorney Mark Hakim has represented co-op boards on similar cases. He said the emphasis is on negotiating an agreement with retail tenants because the last thing any board wants is a vacancy and no income. Now that the retail is stumbling, those costs will spill over to apartment owners and investors alike. ‘That’s where the dominoes start to fall,’ Hakim noted.”

From Business Traveler News. “Apartment-style lodging provider Lyric essentially will leave the hospitality rental space after its lease agreement at 70 Pine St. in New York City is taken over by Mint House this month. The Financial District location was the last of its markets, according to a Forbes report in July. Lyric in March began laying off staff and pulling out of cities. By the time it exited all but the New York market, the company had pivoted to a focus on software tools, including an existing pricing tool for accommodations, according to Forbes. Another apartment-style lodging provider, Stay Alfred, ceased operations earlier this year.”

From Multi-Housing News. “For their part, borrowers want to know what loan-to-value ratio lenders will offer; whether a financial guarantee or a personal guarantee will be required; how loans are being structured; and where cap rates are. So says Matthew Dzbanek, a capital services executive at Ariel Property Advisors, a boutique lender specializing in arranging complex deals.”

“Six months ago, lenders were giving credit for vacant units and structuring loans around them. ‘Now lenders are saying if it’s vacant, we won’t count that income or we won’t close until it’s occupied, which has been a big shift for a lot of value-add operators,’ Dzbanek reports.”

“As the industry continues to digest fluid and challenging conditions, one strategy that seems to draw more interest than implementation is cashing out equity in existing portfolios and using the proceeds to buy distressed properties at deep discounts. According to Real Capital Analytics’ recent report on multifamily capital trends, distressed apartment loans reached $840 million in the second quarter. That represents a year-over-year surge from $254 million for the same period last year.”

From The Universal Hub on Massachusetts. “The challenges faced by the Boston housing market have been well documented in 2020. It effectively took one of the nation’s hottest real estate markets and caused it to come to a grinding halt as apartment vacancies soar all over the city. When looking at the data trends for year over year inventory growth, we’re seeing vacancy numbers that we’ve never seen before in certain areas. The availability rate equals all current vacant apartments plus those becoming available, divided by the total number of apartments.”

“Downtown: 11/2020 Availability Rate: 18.56%, 11/2019 Availability Rate: 1.26%, YOY % Change: +1373.02. Beacon Hill: 11/2020 Availability Rate: 7.08%, 11/2019 Availability Rate: 0.66%, YOY % Change: +972.73%. Allston: 11/2020 Availability Rate: 12.04%, 11/2019 Availability Rate: 1.34%, YOY % Change: +798.51%.”

From Bisnow on Georgia. “There are 12 privately owned student housing projects encompassing more than 2,700 units and 7,800 beds in Atlanta’s pipeline. Three projects are currently under construction, which will add an additional 1,500 beds to the city once they deliver, Haddow & Co. Managing Partner Ladson Haddow said. Landmark Properties CEO Wes Rogers — whose firm has two Midtown projects, Mark Atlanta and The Standard, both along Spring Street — said rents for student housing units were deteriorating last year after years of development.”

“‘We had another site near Georgia Tech we were evaluating but decided to walk away from it due to concerns over deteriorating fundamentals,’ Rogers wrote in an email to Bisnow. ‘I am concerned that this market will soften considerably if most of the proposed projects move forward. Once debt and equity realize how the market is really performing, I imagine much of the potential supply may end up not coming to fruition.'”

The Wall Street Journal. “Mall landlords are starting to seek bankruptcy protection or shutting down, the latest signs that the pandemic is deepening a crisis that began before Covid-19. Many malls purchased with a mortgage within the past 10 years are now underwater, leading owners to return properties to their lenders at a record pace. But some lenders don’t want struggling properties on their balance sheet and have batted them back by extending their loans.”

“‘The quantity of distressed debt and distressed opportunity is at a historical high,’ said Andy Weiner, president of RockStep Capital, a shopping center investment firm that owns 11 malls across the country.”

  1. The Mechanics Behind the Electronic Vote Steal Operation

Michigan @ 45:20. And on. 5 out of 5 states.

    Another poster added:

‘At 31:30 in the video, he explains how Trump was comfortably ahead in all the 5 key battleground states, and suddenly all 5, AT THE SAME TIME, quit counting and went offline for 3 hours.’

‘Then when they came back, suddenly there were massive numbers of found votes and were all for one candidate and one candidate only (Biden). Statistically impossible.’

      1. I have many liberal friends, and many who are otherwise apolitical except for their ingrained #OrangeManBad programming.

They think that elections are decided by emotions, by the media. Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way.

It’s really fun in a sick way to explain to millennials what the requirements are to amend the U.S. Constitution to abolish the Electoral College, specifically the required approval of 38 state legislatures.

        This is NOT over.

        1. It’s really fun in a sick way to explain to I don’t bother to explain anything to people who don’t know what state Columbus, Ohio is the capitol of. I may start applying this policy to those who think the US government is now or was ever a “democracy”.

        1. Larry, can you expand? The fraud is not that the votes were counted after the ballots closed. IIUC, the allegation is that there are three types of fraud going on:

          1. Invalid ballots: duplicate ballots, dead people, out-of-state, no signature, Sharpie marks, etc. These could have been mailed or drop-boxed at any time and would be(?) mixed in with legit ballots. With a proper count, there are almost enough of these ballots to put Trump ahead, even without fraud.
          2. Manufactured ballots. Someone (lots of people) filled out a lot of blank ballots and had them ready to go. When Trump pulled ahead, these boxes of ballots were “found” and driven to counting centers, around 3 a.m. This is where the bulk of the ballots seems to be.
          3. Software glitches. Like the county in Michigan which switched 6000 Trump votes to Biden. That alone is enough to swing the state.

By that way, on election night the MSM reported a “water main break” in Atlanta which would delay the vote count. Did anyone else hear this? I thought it was highly suspicious. Oh sure, that would provide more time to “find” and deliver lots more ballots.

No matter who takes office, 71+ million Trump supporters will NEVER believe that this was a fair election. Those top Dems talk about “healing the country” but the only one who believes it is Joe himself.

          1. 71+ million Trump supporters will NEVER believe that this was a fair election

We have remedies right in front of us. 150 million people active in the election should all fully support the remedies. If only one polar half support legal remedies then we have a bigger problem. Democracy isn’t possible without honesty and morality.

          2. “No matter who takes office, 71+ million Trump supporters will NEVER believe that this was a fair election.”

This is true, and evidence that we are collectively in big trouble.

          3. 71+ million Trump supporters will NEVER believe that this was a fair election.

Why would they? Joe Biden’s goose was cooked on election day, then the counting stopped for hours until it was turned back on for some miracle turnaround in all swing states he was behind in. It’s not statistically possible the way it all happened in concert.

      2. The video did a good job of distinguishing between voter fraud and election fraud. AFAICT, The Narrative is tyring to focus us on “baseless” “widespread” voter fraud when election fraud is the real problem.

        1. The system is so flawed that votes can be changed electronically in many states. And it’s true this must be observed real time to catch it. There is however a record that activity occurred. Looking through videos the past few days, many people were recording TV election night and you can see thousands of votes go from Trump to pedo joe in an instant. And that’s not even the 3-4 AM stuff.

But the paper ballots largely still exist. The electronic vote switch can be easily detected with a recount, as is already planned in Georgia and IIRC Wisconsin. So we’ll find out.

Then there’s the 450,000 votes that had one selection: pedo joe only. Who takes a ballot and selects one candidate? And how is it possible 450,0000 did on the same night (all in key swing states, how is that possible) , that magically got into the system after midnight?

It’s like Powell said on the blacklisted show: they threw every type of fraud at us that night. Dead people, throwing away stuff, coaching, denying ballot count observers. Garden variety fraud. But the electronic scheme will fall apart cuz it won’t match the paper.

          1. To clarify, we’ve got both voter fraud and election fraud going on. The election fraud implicates the upper echelons of the Democrat party .

          2. ‘More than 10,000 people confirmed or suspected dead have returned their mail-in ballots to vote in Michigan, according to an analysis of the state’s election data. About 9,500 voters confirmed dead through the Social Security Death Index (SSDI) are marked in the state’s mail voting database as having returned their ballots. Another nearly 2,000 are 100 years old or more and are not listed as known living centenarians.’

‘The analysis was provided by Richard Baris, director of Big Data Poll. The data indicates that somebody else was trying to vote on behalf of these people. “It’s also entirely possible that some of them aren’t even real people,” Baris told The Epoch Times via email. “If someone is 110 or some ridiculous age, we should have their death record but do not.”

‘Americans older than 110 are exceedingly rare. Only a handful of such seniors are known to live in Michigan. According to the 2010 Census, there were 1,729 centenarians in Michigan (pdf). In a Nov. 9 lawsuit, a Detroit poll watcher alleged thousands of mail-in ballots from people who weren’t properly registered to vote were added to vote counts. Poll operators were adding names and addresses to the poll book with made-up birth dates, such as 1-1-1900, he said in a sworn affidavit.’

            Clovis point hunters for Biden!

          3. The unanimous denial of fraud by corporate media (i.e. Real Journalists) is the most disgusting aspect of all of this. It’s gone beyond Orwell, beyond Stalin.

          4. “Who takes a ballot and selects one candidate?”
This, on its own, to me, wouldn’t be surprising given all the “VOTE” marketing the past 6 months and the attention span of most people. (The irony, of course, is the lack of attention to one’s own backyard, but that’s a side feature…)

            Until you add this:
“Then there’s the 450,000 votes that had one selection: pedo joe only…And how is it possible 450,0000 did on the same night (all in key swing states, how is that possible) , that magically got into the system after midnight?

          5. Then there’s the 450,000 votes that had one selection: pedo joe only.

How did they pull this off? There must have been hundreds, if not thousands, of people in on the scam to make this work. Hundreds of people to fill out the ballots. Hundreds of fact-checker censors to delete comment, or write the AI software.
There’s got to be a paper trail of payments, or some whistleblowing turncoat who has footage of people filling out these ballots. Is there not a single honest Dem who would have turned down filling out all these fake ballots?

          6. The CIA has been doing this sort of thing for decades in other countries. There’s probably an approved vendor list as long as my arm.

          7. How did they pull this off?

Lots of people brainwashed to think DJT was as bad as Hitler. The “fine people” hoax was the centerpiece of Biden’s campaign.

          8. The unanimous denial of fraud by corporate media (i.e. Real Journalists) is the most disgusting aspect of all of this. It’s gone beyond Orwell, beyond Stalin.

Yep. This is banana republic level stuff.

          9. @DecisionDeskHQ just called North Carolina for Trump. Real Journalists not reporting it.

Meanwhile Trump has moved within 12,000 in Arizona – the state they slam-dunked for Pedo Joe.

          10. With the party of “acceptance and inclusion” in charge the first thing to go away in blue Arizona will be the civilian federal permits to own automatic weapons and silencers.

          11. Rip, do you think Trump will pull ahead in AZ? 12,000 is a lot to overcome.

Hard to say, because they have 99% reporting and AZ cannot be recounted unless the margin is within a tenth of a percent. AZ is the kind of state where electronic election fraud works because you can’t request a recount.

      3. “Your government sent 1.1 million dead people stimulus checks. Wonder how many of these folks also voted absentee?”

  2. ‘Six months ago, lenders were giving credit for vacant units and structuring loans around them. ‘Now lenders are saying if it’s vacant, we won’t count that income or we won’t close until it’s occupied’

Lending was rock solid I tells ya! Golly, I hope no one overpaid when they were counting empty as occupied.

‘cashing out equity in existing portfolios and using the proceeds to buy distressed properties at deep discounts’

    Deep discounts?

‘distressed apartment loans reached $840 million in the second quarter. That represents a year-over-year surge from $254 million for the same period last year’

    Is that a lot?

  3. ‘Tens of thousands of unsealed, unsecured ballots—all cast for Democrats—arrived in vehicles with out-of-state license plates in Michigan’s Wayne County at 4:30 a.m. on the morning after Election Day, according to a lawsuit filed on Nov. 9.’

“At approximately 4:30 a.m., tens of thousands of ballots were brought in and placed on eight long tables. Unlike the other ballots, these boxes were brought in from the rear of the room,” a sworn witness affidavit signed by Andrew Sitto states. “The same procedure was performed on the ballots that arrived at approximately 4:30 a.m., but I specifically noticed that every ballot I observed was cast for Joe Biden.”

“I heard other challengers say that several vehicles with out-of-state license plates pulled up to the TCF Center a little before 4:30 a.m. and unloaded boxes of ballots,” Sitto testified.’

‘Sitto’s witness statement is one of six cited in a lawsuit (pdf) filed in Michigan on Monday by the Great Lakes Justice Center. The lawsuit alleges that poll workers were instructed to ignore signature mismatches, backdate ballots that arrived late, and push through ballots despite questions about their validity.’

‘Sitto said the election official subsequently blocked the windows of the room he was in with cardboard and refused to let him reenter after he left for a break.’

‘According to another sworn affidavit, the names on the ballots that arrived in the boxes did not appear on either the qualified voter file (QVF) or the supplemental lists for voters who registered shortly before Election Day.’

“I saw the computer operators at several counting boards manually adding the names and addresses of these thousands of ballots to the QVF system,” Robert Cushman, a poll challenged in Detroit, said in a sworn affidavit. “When I asked what the possible justification was to counting ballots from unknown, unverified ‘persons,’ I was told by election supervisors that the Wayne County Clerk’s Office had ‘checked them out.’”

‘Cushman challenged the process of counting those votes and noted that the poll workers entered the birthdays for each of the purported voters as 1/1/1900.’

“When I asked about this impossibility of each ballot having the same birthday occurring in 1900, I was told that was the instruction that came down from the Wayne County Clerk’s office,” Cushman said. “I was surprised and disappointed at the preponderance of dishonesty, irregularities, and fraudulent tactics at the November 3, 2020 election at the TCF Center.”

‘According to another poll watcher, Daniel Gustafson, the ballots arrived in mail boxes with open tops and no seals at the TCF Center in Detroit. “The ballot bins were not marked or identified in any way to indicate their source of origin,” Gustafson said.’

    1. ‘President Donald Trump is within 1 percent of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Arizona, according to the latest unofficial results. Fox News called the race in Biden’s favor on election night, followed by The Associated Press, even though hundreds of thousands of votes remained outstanding. Trump’s campaign filed a lawsuit last week alleging Maricopa County poll workers incorrectly rejected votes by not giving voters whose ballots were rejected by machines the opportunity to fix them.’

‘State officials estimate that about 61,500 ballots remain left to count. About 31,000 of those are in Maricopa County, which contains about two-thirds of the state’s population. Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said earlier Monday that about 75,000 to 80,000 votes still needed counting.’

      https://www.theepochtimes.com/trump-pulls-within-1-percent-of-biden-in-arizona_3572938.html

My ballot said in big letters don’t use a sharpie, it could cause your vote to be disqualified. In Phoenix, poll workers were handing them out and even tried to snatch regular pens from voters if they insisted on using them. Nothing to see here!

    1. Worst yet, Schumer thinks Biden can do this with only the pen and not with Congress. They need to do this correct way. Simply make college tuition dischargeable in BK. Preferably an old-school 7-year BK where your FICO is trash and you have to have to apply for a secured credit card. And it should be for tuition only. Luxe student housing and pizza and beer? They can have their Social Security garnished.

      1. Simply make college tuition dischargeable in BK. NO. The current student indebtedness problem was only made possible by the NON dischargeability-in-bankruptcy of student loans. This blew the problem UP into a major one. Changing the status of these loans after they were made is just another type of loan “forgiveness” and is still theft from the rest of us.

      2. Later born generations have already had their Social Security garnished to pay for Generation Greed.

Do the multiplication. .75, because there will only be enough money to pay 75 percent of benefits, times .75, because the average Millennial is paid 25 percent less than the average Baby Boomer (despite higher educational attainment), and you end up with an average Social Security payment that is 44 percent less than the average Boomer.

Over and above the cut in benefits as a result of the later retirement age — for later-born generations only — that passed in 1983.

The bi-partisan war on everyone who will still be here in 20 years continues unabated, and undiscussed.

    2. Ive said it before cancel your degree cancel your loan. And any job that requires a valid college degree you cant apply for….that is fair to me.

  4. ‘just sold their pedigreed home overlooking the links of Bel-Air Country Club for $18.5 million. Williams and Pasquin were asking $30 million for the home in January’

Didn’t mention what they paid. Didn’t give an address so you could look it up either. I’m sure it was an oversight.

    1. YEAR PROPERTY TAXES TAX ASSESSMENT
      2020 $99,008 $8,117,615 (+2%)
      2019 $99,008 (+4.6%) $7,958,447 (+2%)
      2018 $94,646 $7,802,400

  5. ‘I am concerned that this market will soften considerably if most of the proposed projects move forward. Once debt and equity realize how the market is really performing…’

    So they don’t know?

    1. I just hope we don’t have projects halted mid-construction again. No one should be starting anything until the half-built are finished.

        1. Basically, it’s a $20 million loan on a building worth nothing, or a $30 million loan on a building worth $18 million.

          1. As a civil engineer I understand your logic, and you know that construction loans are usually doled-out in stages of work accomplished rather than a lump sum, which incentivizes the developer’s CEO to skip out of the country for a tropical setting.

  6. Coop and HOA fees,

Basically – a blank check you sign every year.

““Because of these delinquent retail tenants, condo and co-op owners are seeing their dues rise and the value of their homes sink.

  7. Well, engineers can do math and tend to be thrifty…

“‘We had another site near Georgia Tech we were evaluating but decided to walk away from it due to concerns over deteriorating fundamentals,’ Rogers wrote in an email to Bisnow. ‘I am concerned that this market will soften considerably if most of the proposed projects move forward. Once debt and equity realize how the market is really performing, I imagine much of the potential supply may end up not coming to fruition.’”

    1. They print money for bail outs and charge it to the people. The Commie Bailouts that were bribes to the Commie sector of the population will most likely be done also.
Than the big bribe of open borders and amnesty might come about also that will be another treason to American Borders to make a hell hold out of America. And you will have to pay for the welfare and health care they require.
I don’t know how long it will take for them to go after the guns, but that’s on the agenda. The free speech has already been hijacked and replaced by fake news and Jack Dorsey determining the narrative.
The people tried to stop it by Trump, but the establishment Swamp has spoken. Don’t know if the High Court will go along with this fraud or not, but I’m not betting they will do the right thing. Anything but the right remedy of a redo of the swing States would not be the right remedy of this massive fraud.
So, the cause and effect of this treasonous power grab will come down the road , but not predictable how it will play out.

  8. So Shaq is having trouble unloading his shack in Orlando?

He was asking $28M? Surely he could sell it to a well paid theme park employee.

      1. Or he could rent it out on AirBnB for parties. I’m sure it would be very popular with certain demographics, as long as there are no shoot outs.

        1. as long as there are no shoot outs Some demographics don’t consider an event a party unless there ARE shoot outs.

          1. Yep, the Amish and their Rumspringa festivities are notorious for such gratuitous gunplay.

            Clip-clop clip-clop BOOM BOOM BOOM clip-clop clip-clop – another Amish drive-by shooting….

  9. Watching the Senate Judiciary Committee question McCabe on the origins of the Russia investigation. Ds using their time to advance their election narrative with all the buzzwords as well as disparage Barr.

    1. Can you imagine that under the Russian Hoax Trump was under the threat of a manufactured treason that could of put him in prison as well as Flynn. It didn’t take him out ,but they used the nonstop slander to take back the House in 2018. Than the set up for the fake impeachment, that fell a little short of take out because of the Senate.
Than only thing left is rigged election.
It’s really bad when you have traitors in key spots that are riddled with good Citizens in FBI, CIA, election system and institutions. And of course the Commie thugs army , and the Covid-19 control was obviously used to pull off the power grab.
Trump had overwhelming forces intent on taking him out. I kept thinking they were going to kill him, but I think they thought making him a martyr might backfire on them.
Trump was a fluke that he got in so they didn’t prepare to rig 2016. IMHO.
My question is how many people that are treasonous are riddled in the system verses how many are just bribed, verses how many are just dumb asses that just believe the narrative .
Why would Politicians sell out their Country. Money talks with the lobbying . Look at what a sell out Biden was for all those years.
As you also notice they act like a cult saying the talking points over and over again, that is always in step with fake news. A illusion of a two party system with the Republicans having to many Rhino sell outs to big business also.

One solution is term limits, and somehow taking the money lobbying out of Politics , but you would never get the swamp to go for such a thing, some have tried and failed. The Judicial has been corrupted also and being used as a power play by lower Court Judges . They even are putting in

        1. term limits

“There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.”

          Henry David Thoreau

          1. “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”

            Abraham Lincoln. … Republican President

      1. Trump was a fluke that he got in so they didn’t prepare to rig 2016.

There was a rumor that the same analysis that showed fraud this time shows it for 2016 as well…they just weren’t prepared for the amount that would be needed last time.

          1. They’ve done a pretty good job of keeping him running in circles for 4 years to keep that from happening. And he has some responsibility for letting them do that. Hopefully if he manages to get back in the gloves come off.

        1. I was up at the time in 2016 and observed the same phenomena in real time. Certain cities just stopped giving updates to the vote count (I think Atlanta was definitely one of them). Unless you were watching in real time you wouldnt catch it and the media are useless.. It was obvious something odd was going on and when it resumed, Trump increased his leads. I figured some people got religion at the end of a barrel, but it could have all been electronically done.

Basically the demon scum use this type of tactic time and time again. Trump is here to break this corrupt system and destroy them. MAGA!

  10. “Because of these delinquent retail tenants, condo and co-op owners are seeing their dues rise and the value of their homes sink.

Oh dear. Does a pose a moral dilemma for Democrat condo owners whose party exalts and enables parasitism as the supreme virtue, when they get gouged to take up the slack for deadbeats who aren’t paying their condo fees or assessments?

  11. “Actress JoBeth Williams and her husband, film director John Pasquin, just sold their pedigreed home overlooking the links of Bel-Air Country Club for $18.5 million. Williams and Pasquin were asking $30 million for the home in January.”

Weren’t gonna give it away, huh, JoBeth?

    1. JoBeth Williams

I really must be disconnected. Whenever we have story about some Hollyweird type having to discount their shack, chances are I’ve never heard of them.

      1. Never heard of them either. Since I quit TV over 6 years ago and rarely watch any new movies, I’m completely out of touch.

    1. Oh dear. What happens if each of these falling dominoes takes down a bigger domino?

I’d imagine it’d be good for stocks. The worse news, the better!

    Is that a lot?

  13. “‘We had another site near Georgia Tech we were evaluating but decided to walk away from it due to concerns over deteriorating fundamentals,’ Rogers wrote in an email to Bisnow.

Wha? But if everyone who has concerns about deteriorating fundamentals just walks away, what’s that going to do to the Fed’s asset bubbles and Ponzi markets?

I sense an “Oh dear” moment in time approaching….

    1. Haven’t you heard? The whole economy is going to be base upon healthcare. Everybody’s entire paycheck will be going there. Biden told us so. He’s going to “fix Obamacare” to “make it even better.” Every time they fix something, the price skyrockets. $100,000 CT scans? No problema!

      1. Our monthly premiums are actually going down a tiny it for 2021 although office visits are increasing from $30 to $35. If Biden is inaugurated, ???

      2. Yes, Obamacare was a Commie program so this medical monopoly could enforce monopoly prices.
These Politicians don’t do anything that doesn’t set up looting of the people under the guise of Affordable care act.
Commies always start screwing with health care as a means of ushering in their top down control. Capitalism goes out the window. Than using medical to lock down people . It gives them control with bad motive.

    1. Fair election = Republican wins

      Fraudulent election = Republican loses

I think I’m starting to catch on!

      1. There’s winning and there’s losing. If there’s cheating, it’s something more serious. Let’s just find out what it is.

        1. Agreed.

But how exactly do campaign rallies serve the legal process of a fraud investigation?

          I smell a RebublicRat.

          1. FWIW, the MSM is barraging us with stories and articles, telling the public to shut up and accept the unofficial result as official. Take this headline I saw today:

Wall Street to Trump: It’s over. This isn’t a repeat of 2000

Since the media is pretty much 100% opposed to the President, he has to fight back however he can. If that means rallies, then rallies it will be.

          2. I smell a RebublicRat.

But you told me from your high horse just a few days ago that name-calling was out, and to “try to keep up.” I smell a total phony, hypocritical DemocRAT.

        1. I dont think people can grasp how pervasive our country has been coopted. I believe most of it originates from China. Looking back over my career the past almost 3 decades, the pattern becomes more apparent. Media, business, politics, academia, military – they went after everything and were pretty successful.

          1. That’s why I keep saying that the hijacking had already taken place prior to 2016. The fluke of Trump getting in brought out the true colors of the treason and highjacking and how deep it went. The fake media went into overdrive to cast the false narratives to take out Trump. Globalist one World order control with China monopolies . Biden is a crooked puppet and his VP Harris is a Commie puppet stooge as well.

‘Over 51,000 ballots were marked as returned just a day after they were sent out—an extraordinary speed, given U.S. Postal Service (USPS) delivery times, while nearly 35,000 were returned on the same day they were mailed out. Another more than 23,000 have a return date earlier than the sent date. More than 9,000 have no sent date.’

‘In addition to the ballots described above, there were more than 43,000 ballots returned two days after being sent out, which is still remarkably fast, although still possible if the voter quickly delivered the ballot to an election office or a ballot drop box in person. The flagged ballots comprise almost 4 percent of all those issued by the state.’

‘According to the data analyzed by the researcher, at least 31 people who appear to be older than the oldest known person in the state returned ballots. They were all born between 1900 and 1907, based on the state’s data. The oldest known person in the state is 113-year-old Ardith Grose.’

‘About 20 of the voters shared the birth date of Jan. 1, 1900. The date corresponds to an allegation in Michigan, where a poll watcher said he saw operators adding people to the poll book while they were counting their mail-in ballots, raising concern that these voters weren’t properly registered and thus were eligible to vote. The operators input the names with fabricated birth dates, such as Jan. 1, 1900, according to a sworn affidavit by the poll watcher.’

‘The flagged ballots comprise almost 4 percent of all those issued by the state’

    Oh dear…

    1. Over 51,000 ballots were marked as returned just a day after they were sent out—an extraordinary speed

But, we were told for months that the Post Office had been dismantled.

    2. So, what is Trump’s path here? Does Trump have to prove fraud beyond reasonable doubt? Do they just have a cut-off time and throw out piles of ballots? Do they nix the software and simply hand-examine every ballot? How many ballots is that? 40+ million?

      1. We could have hand counted all the ballots twice by now. It’s just a couple more states or so to 270. No need to recount the entire country.

          1. IIUC, RCP is as biased as MSNBC, so I can’t quite believe them. But will this really come down to just PA? Trump was up by 700,000 votes there. It wouldn’t be that difficult to knock out enough fraudulent votes to put Trump ahead again.

      2. So, what is Trump’s path here? Does Trump have to prove fraud beyond reasonable doubt?

This isn’t about Trump anymore. It’s about the integrity of our electoral process, and whether 70 million people have been disenfranchised by the elites. Which creates a dangerous situation, since millions of those people are heavily armed and highly pissed off. If the ballot box is no longer an option, there’s only one avenue for recourse open to those angry about taxation without representation.

        1. Tucker Carlson’s take on this has been spot on, IMO. Those of us on the right are ready to accept the results of the election, if the legitimate concerns about potential voter fraud are addressed and the basic soundness of the electoral system, notwithstanding voter fraud on the margins, is upheld.

        2. All I know is that there are about 2.1 million people in the US who are currently serving under the oath to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic” and who will “bear true faith and allegiance to the same”. You have to wonder what they’re being fed in their SITREPs and how much is sticking in their brains.

Tomorrow is a good time to think about all of them, and those who came (and went) before…

    3. According to Tucker Carlson the Lincoln Project is a leftist organization that is funded by Wall Street and Big Tech and they have put the names and addresses of the attorneys representing the Trump campaign in the Pennsylvania election law suits out to the public. Pretty far past dangerous.

Postal worker admits fabricating allegations of ballot tampering, reports say

Repubicans had used case as evidence of ballot tampering

        Graeme Massie /Los Angeles

A Pennsylvania postal worker who became Repubicans’ star witness after saying he was aware of widespread ballot tampering by the U.S. Post Office has recanted his claims.

GOP donors paid have him $136,000 via a GoFundMe campaign.

“Richard Hopkins’ claim that a postmaster in Erie, Pa., instructed postal workers to backdate ballots mailed after Election Day was cited by Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) in a letter to the Department of Justice calling for a federal investigation,” The Washington Post reports. “Attorney General William P. Barr subsequently authorized federal prosecutors to open probes into credible allegations of voting irregularities and fraud, a reversal of long-standing Justice Department policy.”

Hopkins has now signed an affidavit recanting his false claims, which the House Oversight Committee noted in a Twitter thread.

But last week James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, a far right wing propaganda machine that specializes in creating false narratives for Republicans to use against the left, promoted Hopkins’ allegations. Later Hopkins allowed his name to be used.

“He was instantly celebrated by Trump supporters,” The Post notes.

On Saturday O’Keefe called Hopkins “an American hero.” By Tuesday a GoFundMe page bearing Hopkins’ name “had raised more than $129,000 by Tuesday morning, with donors praising him as a patriot and whistleblower.”

A video on that page shows a man identified as Hopkins, delivering the mail. The video at one point has a finger blocking the camera lens.

    President Donald J. Trump, September 26, 2020

    1. I don’t have the heart to look up numbers right now, but IIRC Trump was less than 10,000 votes behind in MI. (Unless a lot more ballots showed up later.) And you don’t even have to prove fraud to throw out a dead vote, right? Wouldn’t that give Trump Michigan — or be very close to giving Trump Michigan — pretty quickly? That doesn’t even begin to address the 3 a.m. vans or the votes with ONLY the Biden bubble filled in.

Hoo boy. If this goes on, this is going to get ugly fast. As one prepper said, “If this goes to the Supreme Court, Trump will win. And if Trump wins, the country will burn.”

Heh, on my YouTube page, there’s a video with the headline: “Biden considers legal action as Trump threatens transfer of power.” What legal action can Biden take? I seriously don’t know.

      1. What legal action can Biden take?

He shouldn’t have standing to sue until the results of the election are certified in his favor. I vaguely recall a case where standing was ignored hence my equivocation.

#9 Feb 10th 2016, Chris Christie, New Jersey Governor:

Chris Christie’s 2016 presidential campaign was marked by two polar opposite roles: attack dog and lap dog. As attack dog, Christie destroyed Marco Rubio’s campaign during a New Hampshire presidential debate, accusing the Florida senator of being robotic, with nothing to offer but a “memorized 25-second speech.” Christie dropped out of the race after a disappointing finish in the New Hampshire primary, and then became Trump’s lap dog, endorsing the billionaire who he had previously said was running for “entertainer-in-chief.” Christie stood stone-faced behind Trump during a lengthy Super Tuesday victory press conference, leading some on social media to wonder whether the New Jersey governor had been taken hostage.

    #10 Feb 10th 2016, Carly Fiorina, “wanna.bee” U.S. Senator for Clownifornicate

Donald Trump provided Carly Fiorina her best moment of the presidential race, but she couldn’t make it last. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Trump appeared to criticize Fiorina’s appearance, saying “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?” At a September debate, Fiorina turned the insult into an advantage. “I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said,” she said to thunderous applause. Trump lamely responded “I think she’s got a beautiful face, and I think she’s a beautiful woman.” Fiorina jumped to second place in New Hampshire polls, but she quickly faded, and dropped out of the race after taking less than 5% in the New Hampshire primary.

#11 Feb 12th 2016, Jim Gilmore, Virginia Governor:

The former Virginia governor sort of ran for president, and he attacked Trump in December for “talking like a fascist.” But Gilmore barely registered in the polls, hardly campaigned, and collected only 12 votes in the Iowa caucus and 133 votes in the New Hampshire primary before dropping out.

#12 Feb 20th 2016, Jeb Bush, Florida Governor

A year ago, Jeb Bush was at the forefront of an historic fundraising juggernaut, with a super PAC that raised more than $100 million by June. But Bush could never generate the passion and enthusiasm of Trump. The billionaire branded Bush a “low energy” candidate and proceeded to tie George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq around Jeb Bush’s neck like a lead weight. During a February debate in South Carolina, Trump said President Bush had lied about the pretext for the Iraq War. Jeb rose to his brother’s defense.  “While Donald Trump was building a reality TV show, my brother was building a security apparatus to keep us safe and I’m proud of what he did,” he said. But Trump fired back: “The World Trade Center came down during your brother’s reign, remember that. That’s not keeping us safe.” A week later Trump won the winner-take-all Palmetto State primary and Bush dropped out of the race.

    Yahoo Finance:
Trump’s former chief of staff on election fraud claims:

‘Put up or shut up on the evidence’

    Julie HymanJulie Hyman·Anchor / Tue, November 10, 2020

former top adviser to President Donald Trump said time is running out to provide evidence to support claims of election fraud.

On Saturday, the Associated Press and other media outlets said former Vice President Joe Biden had won enough electoral college votes to be the next president. Lawyers representing Trump’s re-election campaign have fired off a number of legal challenges to the results, none of which have resulted in votes being thrown out.

“Allegations are not enough, and everybody knows this,” said Mick Mulvaney, former acting White House chief of staff and director of the Office of Management and Budget, in an interview with Yahoo Finance Live. Lawyers “have to put up or shut up on the evidence for the lawsuits. You can’t go out on TV and say, ‘they’re stealing the election,’ and not back that up with facts.”

Suits have been filed in five states alleging various ballot and voting irregularities; several cases have been thrown out. On Monday, the Trump campaign filed suits to try to stop election officials from certifying results in Michigan and Pennsylvania, claiming fraud.

According to the latest ballot count, Biden was ahead by 47,525 votes in Pennsylvania and by 146,123 in Michigan, with 99% tallied in both states.

“There are small instances of voter fraud in elections,” said Mulvaney. “It’s in the single digits sometimes, but it doesn’t move elections typically to 30,000 or 40,000 people. The difficulty is that so many people voted by mail, and it’s hard to grasp how many votes are still out there remaining to be counted.”

In March, Trump replaced Mulvaney with Mark Meadows as White House chief of staff. Mulvaney, who recently participated in the Greenwich Economic Forum, is currently serving as the United States Special Envoy to Northern Ireland, and co-founded a hedge fund, Exegis Capital.

Trump has made numerous unsubstantiated claims about election fraud in a steady stream of tweets and public comments over the past week.

Waiting for the count to be completed and alleging fraud are two different approaches, however, and Mulvaney said of the latter,

“you can’t continue that forever. Sooner or later, you have to admit that you won or lost.”

Trump/ “thee.🍊.jesus” is attempting a coup in plain sight

Vox / By Ezra Klein on November 7, 2020

Donald Trump is trying to discredit an election he is losing
Joe Biden has won the presidency. But the current president of the United States, Donald Trump, is attempting a coup in plain sight. “I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!” he tweeted on Saturday morning. This came after he demanded that states cease counting votes when the total began to turn against him, after his press secretary shocked Fox News anchors by arguing that legally cast votes should be thrown out.

The Trump administration’s current strategy is to go to court to try and get votes for Biden ruled illegitimate, and that strategy explicitly rests on Trump’s appointees honoring a debt the administration, at least, believes they owe. One of his legal advisers said, “We’re waiting for the United States Supreme Court — of which the President has nominated three justices — to step in and do something. And hopefully Amy Coney Barrett will come through.”

If that fails, and it will, Mark Levin, one of the nation’s most popular conservative radio hosts, is explicitly calling on Republican legislatures to reject the election results and seat Donald Trump as president anyway. After Twitter tagged the tweet as contested, Trump’s press secretary weighed in furiously on Levin’s behalf.

That this coup probably will not work — that it is being carried out farcically, erratically, ineffectively — does not mean it is not happening, or that it will not have consequences. Millions will believe Trump, will see the election as stolen. The Trump family’s Twitter feeds, and those of associated outlets and allies, are filled with allegations of fraud and lies about the process (reporter Isaac Saul has been doing yeoman’s work tracking these arguments, and his thread is worth reading). It’s the construction of a confusing, but immersive, alternative reality in which the election has been stolen from Trump and weak-kneed Republicans are letting the thieves escape.

This is, to borrow Hungarian sociologist Bálint Magyar’s framework, “an autocratic attempt.” That’s the stage in the transition toward autocracy in which the would-be autocrat is trying to sever his power from electoral check. If he’s successful, autocratic breakthrough follows, and then autocratic consolidation occurs. In this case, the would-be autocrat stands little chance of being successful. But he will not entirely fail, either. What Trump is trying to form is something akin to an autocracy-in-exile, an alternative America in which he is the rightful leader, and he — and the public he claims to represent — has been robbed of power by corrupt elites.

“Democracy works only when losers recognize that they have lost,” writes political scientist Henry Farrell. That will not happen here.

The corruption of the GOP will outlive Trump’s presidency:

Members of the Trump family are explicitly, repeatedly, trying to make the acceptance of their conspiracies a litmus test for ambitious Republicans. And it is working. To read elected Republicans today — with a few notable exceptions, like Sen. Mitt Romney — is to read a careful, cowardly double-speak. Politician after politician is signaling, as Vice President Mike Pence did, solidarity with the president, while not quite endorsing his conspiracies. Of course every legal vote should be counted. Of course allegations of fraud should be addressed. But that is not what the president is demanding — he is demanding the votes against him be ruled illegal — and they know it.

By the way, I think it’s come out that Pelosi and other big Dem had ownership in some of these election computers.

The European Central Bank sees emergency bond buying and long-term loans to banks as its primary levers for providing further support to the euro-area economy, President Christine Lagarde said.

“While all options are on the table, the pandemic emergency purchase program and targeted longer-term refinancing operations have proven their effectiveness in the current environment and can be dynamically adjusted to react to how the pandemic evolves,” she said. “They are therefore likely to remain the main tools for adjusting our monetary policy.”
