Home Prices Falling Quickly In Brampton, Mississauga & Durham Real Estate
Jun 22, 2022 Brampton, Mississauga, Ajax, Whitby, Pickering Real Estate Market Report for the week of June 9 – June 15, 2022. This video will focus specifically on Brampton, Mississauga, Ajax, Whitby, Pickering.
‘The Bank of Canada has come under a rare attack from critics after misjudging inflation and locking itself into rigid forward guidance that prevented it from reacting swiftly as prices surged and Canada’s economy began to overheat. One of the world’s leading central banks, it is now being forced to play catch-up, hiking interest rates more aggressively than originally expected just as Canadian household debt levels hit new highs. For its part, the Bank of Canada has admitted missteps and is promising more transparency, including an analysis of inflation forecast errors, due in July.’
‘The slow start came in part because the bank locked itself into forward guidance in July 2020, promising to keep interest rates at rock-bottom levels until “the economic slack is absorbed,” which was expected to take years. “If you’ve got a mortgage or if you’re considering making a major purchase… you can be confident rates will be low for a long time,” Macklem said in July 2020.’
‘Sticking to the forward guidance was necessary, said Rogers, because “that’s how we know it’ll work next time”.

“Prices Drop $100K”
That’s $ Canadian, right? So no big deal…
The cycle continues, all Big 5 Canadian Banks raise interest rates above 5%
And no 30 year fixed mortgages, which means that should the higher interest rates persist, eventually all mortgages will be reset at the higher rates.
“And no 30 year fixed mortgages, which means that should the higher interest rates persist, eventually all mortgages will be reset at the higher rates.”
This should act like a damper on a bubble forming, but no.
This should act like a damper on a bubble forming, but no.
How low did rates go in Canada? 1%? Now imagine had there been 1% 30 year fixed in the US.
‘Last week, past Fed chair and current Treasury secretary Janet Yellen—a chief architect of today’s Fed policy—was reminded that she had predicted there was only a “small risk” of inflation and that it would be manageable. In response, she admitted: “Well, look, I think I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take … as I mentioned, there have been unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices, and supply bottlenecks that have affected our economy badly, that I didn’t at the time didn’t fully understand.”
‘Of course, there was nothing unique about what Yellen being very wrong. She wasn’t the only one saying that inflation was nothing to worry about, and that the central bank should just keep printing money to facilitate unprecedented amounts of deficit spending during peacetime.’

“She wasn’t the only one saying that inflation was nothing to worry about, and that the central bank should just keep printing money to facilitate unprecedented amounts of deficit spending during peacetime.”
Economists are prone to adopting herd mentalities, just like any other human tribe is.
It is easy to be herd following when you are trading vast personal accounts to huge profits based on your convenient inside view. Just ask former Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan and Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren.
‘Bank of Canada Senior Deputy Governor Carolyn Rogers said on Wednesday that inflation in Canada was much too high and did not rule out a 75-basis-point increase at the central bank’s July decision.’
“We know inflation is keeping Canadians up at night. It’s keeping us up at night,” Rogers said at an event organized by the Globe and Mail newspaper, just hours after official data showed May’s inflation rate hit a near 40-year high of 7.7%.’
“The balance of risks are very much tilted to the upside on inflation. So right now, the way we’re looking at this is, the most important thing is to get inflation back to target,” she added.’
‘When asked if that meant a 75-basis-point hike at its next decision due on July 13, Rogers did not rule out the possibility. “We’ll take the July decision when we get to July,” she said. “We’ve been clear all along, the economy is in excess demand, inflation is too high, rates need to go up.”

Housing?
Yes, housing, because housing –> property taxes –> public education, your taxpayer money is promoting this in the public education system:
“The “gender-affirming” care Levine refers to includes varying degrees of chemical or surgical sex changes. This could consist of “top” surgery to remove breasts or construct new breasts. It may consist of “bottom” surgery to remove sexual organs or attempt to reroute the urogenital structure of children. Additionally, it often includes cross-sex hormones, some of which have been used for chemical castration throughout medical history.”
His name is Richard.
“There is no argument among medical professionals — pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. — about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care,” Levine said.”
The goal of Marxism is that your children become property of the state.
“However, one of the largest groups of pediatricians has made a point to speak up and provide resources to refute such claims, declaring that “gender-affirming” care is dangerous and life-threatening to children.
According to the American College of Pediatricians, no single long-term study demonstrates the safety or efficacy of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries for transgender-believing youth.
Puberty blockers may cause depression and other emotional disturbances related to suicide. The package insert for Lupron, the number one prescribed puberty blocker in America, lists “emotional instability” as a side effect and warns prescribers to “Monitor for development or worsening of psychiatric symptoms during treatment.”
Worse yet, puberty blockers can cause permanent severe side effects, including osteoporosis, mood disorders, seizures, cognitive impairment, and sterility when combined with cross-sex hormones.
All too often, physically healthy transgender-believing girls are given double mastectomies at 13 and hysterectomies at 16. And in the same fashion, their male counterparts are referred for surgical castration and penectomies at 16 and 17.”

The Hill — Study shows massive disconnect between journalists, public (6/22/2022):
“To say there’s a disconnect between many journalists and the public they serve is a gross understatement, according to a new in-depth survey by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center.
Globalist scum media.
“Per Pew, 65 percent of the nearly 12,000 journalists surveyed say the media do a solid job of “covering the most important stories of the day” and reporting news accurately. But a solid majority of the American public at large has the opposite view, with just 35 percent feeling the same way. That’s a 30-point perception gap.”
Globalist scum media.
“When asked if journalists perform well when “serving as a watchdog over elected leaders,” 52 percent of journalists agreed. But the number dropped precipitously again when the general public was asked, with less than 3 in 10 agreeing with the assessment.”
Globalist scum media.
“When asked if journalists manage and correct misinformation consistently, 43 percent of those in the industry said yes, while just 25 percent of the general public agreed.”
Globalist scum media.
“Almost half (46 percent) of journalists said they felt connected to their readers and viewers, while just one-quarter of the public says they feel connected to the media outlets from which they get their news.”
Globalist scum media.
“So why the disconnect? Perhaps it’s like the old saying about the key to good real estate: Location, location location. Most of the national media are located in two places: New York City and Washington, D.C.”

Elizabeth Warren to Fed chair Jerome Powell: Don’t ‘drive this economy off a cliff’
‘Warren asked if grocery prices will go down because of the Fed’s war on inflation. “I wouldn’t say so, no,” Powell said.’
‘Warren expressed concern about the impact of the Fed’s rate hikes on families and the risk of a recession. “Rate hikes won’t make Vladimir Putin turn his tanks around and leave Ukraine,” Warren said, adding that they won’t break up corporate monopolies or stop Covid-19.’
“Inflation is like an illness and the medicine needs to be tailored to the specific problem, otherwise you could make things a lot worse,” Warren said. “Right now, the Fed has no control over the main drivers of rising prices but the Fed can slow demand by getting a lot of people fired and making families poorer.”
‘The Massachusetts Democrat urged Powell to proceed cautiously with further rate hikes. “You know what’s worse than high inflation and low unemployment? It’s high inflation with a recession and millions of people out of work,” Warren said. “I hope you consider that before you drive this economy off a cliff.”

Huffington Post — The Difference Between Having Strong Feelings And Being Triggered (6/23/2022):
“many of us have gotten into the habit of sprinkling clinical terminology into our casual conversations as a way of relating to and connecting with each other emotionally. But when we use mental health and trauma language too casually (or, worse, inaccurately), we water down its impact, ultimately strengthening mental health stigma instead of neutralizing it.
The latest trauma-term-turned-buzzword making the rounds? Saying you’re “triggered” when strong feelings strike.
“In everyday language, being ‘triggered’ tends to mean having a strong negative reaction in response to an event or situation, like feeling angry or upset — but this isn’t how psychologists think about the term,” Anton Shcherbakov, a New Jersey-based licensed clinical psychologist, told HuffPost. “Like all language, it’s getting diluted and misused now that it’s popular.”
“We make what psychologists call the fundamental attribution error, or the tendency to attribute negative actions by others to their character, rather than to circumstances,” Shcherbakov said. “When someone is open about their triggers, it can help us understand them better and have more empathy, which is one of the best ways to strengthen relationships and communities.”

Housing?
Yes, housing. Get back in the office, peasant!
The Atlantic — A Recession Could Kill the Work-From-Home Revolution (6/23/2022):
“In the near future, then, management may regain the upper hand from labor. Company culture will more resemble what bosses want, rather than what workers want—and that could mean a lot more butts in seats. According to surveys by the Stanford economist Nicholas Bloom, nearly 80 percent of employees say they prefer to work at home at least one day a week. But managers are roughly split on the question of whether remote workers are as productive as office workers.”
https://www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/archive/2022/06/could-recession-kill-the-work-from-home-revolution/661361/
“But managers are roughly split on the question of whether remote workers are as productive as office workers.”
There is a moral hazard problem with letting workers work at home unsupervised, as a large share of the labor force lacks the self discipline to self manage.
The work either gets done or it doesn’t. The pointy-haired boss types have never been known for adding much value.
managers trying to justify their jobs of which they are apparently doing poorly but forcing everyone else to see them “working” and having meetings.
If your job involves sitting at a desk in front of a computer there is ZERO reason for you to be in the office. if management did it’s job they would know who is productive and who isn’t, no matter where they are.
The last 2years have proved that many jobs can be done from home just fine. It’s also proved that there are many jobs that are clearly just make work and don’t need to exist at all. Neither of these justify people driving an hour a day (unpaid) or more to sit at a desk in an office.
the smart companies will have a minimal footprint (which is expensive, y’all have noticed that real estate is expensive) and value their employees. Of course, at this point in the GAE’s decline there aren’t tons of smart companies.
+1000 thank you LGC.
To be fair, note that Mayor Adams was elected after these medical genocide mandates were enacted.
New York Times — Mayor Eric Adams stopped enforcement of a vaccine mandate for New York City businesses (6/23/2022):
“Mayor Eric Adams of New York City has not enforced the city’s coronavirus vaccine mandate for employees at private businesses, and has no plans to begin inspecting businesses or begin fining those that are not in compliance.
Former Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled a vaccine mandate for employees at private businesses in December, the most far-reaching local measure in the United States at the time. The mandate applied to around 184,000 businesses of all sizes with employees who work on-site in New York City.”

Covid “vaccines” are not vaccines. They are a deadly experimental mRNA poison that cause blood clots, heart attacks, strokes, and an incalculable array of other medical problems.
There will be no “get out of jail free card” for this. This will not fade away. This will not be forgotten.
Every single person who participated in this medical genocide will face justice. Which unfortunately for many of them, means a death sentence and execution.
A death sentence and execution.

Washington Post — Lawmakers on Jan. 6 committee ramp up their security as threats increase (6/22/2022):
“In the past 24 hours, there has been an uptick in the number of violent threats against lawmakers on the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, and all lawmakers on the committee are likely to receive a security detail, according to three people involved with the investigation.”
Do not do this. This is what Glowie wants.
“The committee on Tuesday held its fourth hearing, which focused on efforts by former president Donald Trump and his allies to overturn the results of the 2020 election and the resulting political violence and harassment experienced by many of those who resisted.”
The HBB is not Facebook, Twitter, or Reddit. On this platform, our blog host allows us to discuss that the 2020 election was, in fact, stolen.
“Over the weekend, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) revealed a letter addressed to his wife that threatened to execute them and their 5-month-old baby. He warned that the political violence of Jan. 6, 2021 was not an aberration but a consequence of his party’s repeated lies.”
Kinzinger wrote the letter to himself. See also The Salty Cracker (9m2s):

KDVR — Colorado’s young children line up for vaccination (6/22/2022):
Note that “the children” are not lining up, their parents are bringing them there, just like cattle up in Greeley on a feedlot, being lined up the chute to their execution.
“Families lined up in the parking lot at Children’s Hospital Colorado to get their young children vaccinated against COVID-19 at one of the state’s mobile vaccination clinics.
Starting Wednesday, children as young as 6 months old will be able to receive a vaccination.
“We are super excited,” Melissa Bongirno, who brought her 18-month-old Stella, said. “It’s just been a scary couple of years.”
Melissa, you have been afflicted with a Mass Formation Psychosis, and your baby is going to die.
“The Immunization Branch Chief for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Heather Roth said that there is an ample supply of the vaccine.
Additionally, Roth wants parents to know that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have been rigorously tested, and the doses are smaller.”
https://kdvr.com/news/local/colorados-young-children-line-up-for-vaccination/
Heather Roth, you are participating in a medical genocide.
Heather Roth, you are advocating for murdering children with a “vaccine” that is not a vaccine.
“We are super excited,” Melissa Bongirno, who brought her 18-month-old Stella, said. “It’s just been a scary couple of years.”
Some people are just addicted to fear.
Hubby’s buddy reluctantly welcomed a child within the last two weeks and the mother is already talking about jabbing the baby. I had my husband send his buddy the short video I posted here about Pfizer’s ridiculous clinical trial for young children. The mother was jabbed and hubby’s buddy will very likely lose that fight.
The mother was jabbed
Sadly, the baby is possibly already harmed.
All the more reason not to jab the kid. He could react adversely to it.

Bull$h!t
While we’re on the topic of dead babies.
Colorado Public Radio — One of the most powerful anti-abortion organizations calls Colorado home, a state that may soon see a lot more abortions (6/22/2022):
“About 700 full-time employees work at the expansive Focus on the Family headquarters in northern Colorado Springs. There’s a highway sign marking the organization’s exit off Interstate 25; it’s the most prominent of several institutions cementing the state’s second-largest city as a national hub of evangelical culture and advocacy.”
That almost sounds like CPR is providing a map for the violent left (redundant, I know) to attack.
“Even if the leaked draft Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe largely reflects the court’s final decision, access to abortion in Colorado will not change. The legislature, controlled by Democrats, voted to enshrine the right to abortion into state law just this spring.”
Note the word choice: “enshrine”.
A shrine to dead babies.
“In fact, if the court does overturn Roe, Colorado would become an island of more open abortion access compared to surrounding states. Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains estimates the number of patients seeking the procedure in the state could jump at least 20 percent as a result.”

‘Not since 1788 — the year before the founding of the Treasury — have US bonds fallen so much, according to a calculation by Deutsche Bank AG strategists.’
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/deutsche-bank-looks-back-1780s-141654798.html
Is that a lot?
The somewhat shocking reality is that bonds have only begun to fall. When I entered the full time adult labor force three and a half decades ago, yields on thirty year Treasurys were over 8%. Today they stand at just over 3%, far below the recent rate of inflation, which is unofficially over 10%.
In short, Treasury yields have much farther to rise, and Treasury prices have much farther to fall, before this episode in financial history becomes a memory.
